At a macro level, the steps of all organization performance management processes are the same. Goals are set at the highest levels of the organization; goals are cascaded down through the organization and translated into performance objectives; managers coach employees to achieve the desired results and rate them, and that information feeds back to the organization to be used for other aspects of talent management.
